1.What are the main advantages of your solution compared to existing jaw motion capture systems? Our solution is unique, employing a pure vision-based approach for jaw motion capture. Unlike traditional systems requiring headsets or markers, our method is: oAccurate: Eliminates interference with patient movement. oTime-saving: No need for calibrating attachments. oComfortable: Provides a seamless experience for patients. 2.How does the system track jaw motion? A dedicated stereo vision camera captures jaw movement. Machine learning algorithms identify natural keypoints, integrating the data with intraoral scanner results to create a comprehensive visualization. 3.Is this a facial scanner? While facial scanning is part of the process, the current software does not display facial scanning results. Future upgrades will include advanced features like facial scanning, digital smile design, and implant planning, leveraging the powerful stereo vision platform. 4.Is there an offline version of the Vision Jaw software? Currently no. The pure-vision algorithm now requires substantial computational resources. However, due to client requests for enhanced data security, an offline version is under development, with an estimated release date of mid-2025. 5.How can I orient the maxillary to the base of the skull during motion tracking? Simply merge the maxillary cast with a CT scan using restoration design software for accurate orientation.
1.Is the system ready for clinical use? Yes, the Vision Jaw system is fully developed, FDA-listed, and ready for clinical use. Free software updates are ongoing to enhance user experience and reliability. 2.Are software upgrades free during the lease period? Yes, free software upgrades are included throughout the lease period and continue after the buyout. 3.Are buyout options available at the end of the lease period? The system is automatically bought out at the end of the lease period. Post-buyout, the only recurring cost is the software subscription fee. 4.Do you offer promotions for ACP visitors? Yes, ACP attendees who visited the Vision Dentistry booth qualify for a special time-limited promotional price. 5.If new hardware is developed during the lease period, is it free or discounted? While our current Version 2.0 camera is highly advanced, future hardware upgrades will be offered at a significantly reduced cost, regardless of lease or buyout status. 6.How can I start testing the system? We are pleased to offer the leasing option as a limited-time promotion. You can explore the system’s functionality and seamlessly integrate it into your current workflow. We will also provide professional support to ensure a smooth experience. Please inquiry for the details of testing. 7.Why is there a monthly software subscription fee? The core machine learning and tracking algorithms run on Amazon Web Services (AWS) to ensure optimal performance. The subscription fee supports server costs and maintenance for a superior user experience. 8.What happens if I stop paying the subscription fee? Can I restart it later? If the subscription is discontinued, the system will cease functioning as ongoing maintenance is essential. However, you can restart your subscription at any time to resume functionality. 9.What happens if you decide to stop the project? The market for digital dentistry is rapidly growing, and we are committed to advancing our technology to meet the increasing demands of dental professionals. Our system is built on robust, cutting-edge technology, and we have designed it to be sustainable and easy to maintain. Even in the unlikely event that our team decides to stop further development, the system will continue to operate smoothly with ongoing support provided through the monthly subscription fee. This ensures software updates and technical assistance remain available, so your investment in Vision Jaw remains secure. 10.Are you shipping from the U.S.? Yes, all shipments are handled from our location in Cambridge, MA, U.S.
